Our experienced Richards Farm team is ready to assist you with planning your special day. Richards Farm offers what it takes to make the affair memorable and affordable with flexible menu options to suit a wide range of budgets. We have plenty of extra amenities available and with our over 30 years of experience, you and your guests will long remember this special day. We also offer several size rooms and areas for the ceremony as well.

  • What do I need to do first to host my wedding/reception here?

  • • Pay the $600 (non-refundable) site fee for Willow Room or $300 for Haymow. This secures the date, time and space for your event. Also included is: Tables, chairs, skirting, wedding/reception consultations, tastings, day before event for decorating, use of the pavilions for outdoor seating, cocktail hours, etc.

  • Generally speaking, what are the costs involved with a wedding/reception at Richards Farm, after the payment of the site fee?

  • • Wedding fees – indoor wedding $200/ outdoor wedding $300
    • Linen fees – bring your own or rent from us $8/cloth & $1.00 napkin
    • Bar Fee – $100
    • Kegs, Wine, etc. – Bar can be set up “Open, Host Bar”, Cash Bar, Host, (any combination of the above)
    • Cost of meal – usually varies between $18 – $25/person
    • Service charges – we add 20% to all food and beverage
    • Staging – If you want the head table elevated, the fee is: $100 for 2-6 people ; $200 for 8 or more
    • Outdoor sound system – ours can be rented for $60
    • Outdoor seating for weddings – secure your own or we can arrange delivery and set up – $3/chair

  • What is your Alcoholic Bar Policy?

  • • All alcohol consumed on premise must be purchased from Richards Farm Restaurant during an event.
    • During a function our staff will maintain control of all alcoholic beverages and will only dispense one beverage per person at a time.
    • Individuals may not purchase multiple drinks.
    • Each individual purchasing and consuming alcohol may be asked to present valid photo identification
    • Management reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone.
    • Absolutely no outside liquor can be brought into restaurant. A fee of $25/bottle will be added to client’s bill if outside liquor is found.
    • Bottled beer can be purchased at bar for $3-$4 bottle
    • Champagne can be ordered by host. We have 3 prices of champagne: $18, $30 or $50/bottle
    • Beer kegs are available. Domestic kegs start at $300. If more than 2 different types of kegs are ordered, an additional $25/keg set up fee is required.
    • Craft beer kegs are available. We have access to many. Prices vary.
    • Kegs must be serviced and poured by a bartender. No pitchers are allowed with Kegs in the Banquet Area.
    • Customer is responsible for the full price of a keg once it has been tapped. Absolutely no tapped partly full kegs of beer can be removed from premises at end of function. No manner of draining the kegs may occur.
    • Unused keg beer must be left here at Richards Farm.
    • Alcohol may not leave the premises.
    • Management reserves the right to hire and assign security to any function at client’s expense.
    • There is a $100 bar set up fee for receptions.
    • Open bar tabs will have a 20% service fee added.

  • What are the sizes of tables available for receptions?

  • • We have (20) 5’ diameter round tables, which seat 8.
    • We have 8’ and 6’ long banquet tables, which are 30” wide, seating 8 and 6 respectively.
    • We have 4’ and 2’ tables which can be used in various and assorted circumstances.
    • Very often a combination of rounds and long banquet tables are used.
    • Head tables can be set up according to your desire.

  • What color table linens do you offer?

  • • We have ivory, black and burgundy cloths which may be rented for $8/cloth and $1.00/napkin.
    • You may bring your own or we can rent cloths for you.

  • Can we have our rehearsal dinner the night before at Richards Farm?

  • • Absolutely. We will seat your party in the most appropriate sized room necessary. A buffet, plate, or limited menu can be prepared. We are happy to offer a 10% discount on the meal chosen (excluding alcohol) for rehearsal dinners prior to weddings or receptions held at our facility.

  • What about your lighting?

  • • Our house lights dim and there are 6 different circuits to dim various lights.

  • What can we bring in?

  • • Any and all decorations/ no food or beverage of any sort (exception of wedding cake and small favors for guests)
    • Guest favors which involve food may incur a fee if they require special set-up or clean-up. – e.g.: popcorn bars, which are usually very messy, is available only with a $100 fee.

  • When can we decorate?

  • • We allow you the day before your event to decorate. Additional time may be allowed for $50/day.
    • Decorations may be hung on walls or ceiling. Any and all decorations need to be taken down immediately following reception. Exceptions are difficult to remove ceiling or wall hangings. They may stay in place until first of the following week. (Our Sunday Buffet guests usually enjoy left over wedding decorations anyway.)

  • Can we bring in our own food, beverage during decorating, rehearsal time?

  • • No. We are a restaurant and bar as well as a banquet facility. All food and beverage must be purchased from Richards Farm.

  • Are we allowed to walk the premises for pictures?

  • • Of course, any time.

  • Is there a dressing area for weddings?

  • • Yes, we will provide an area for a maximum 4 hour usage, after which time a $50 fee will be imposed.

  • When are we expected to give you the final guaranteed number of guests?

  • • We want a guaranteed number 1 week in advance of event. If more than the quoted number of guests arrive, you will be charged for those guests additionally.

  • If we want the upstairs and the Willow Room for our ceremony & reception what are the fees?

  • • For both rooms, you need to pay the wedding fee $200, and $300 to secure the Haymow for your ceremony, Willow Room fee of $600 plus the costs of the meal, etc. of your reception.

  • What types of menus are available for receptions?

  • • Buffets and Plate Dinners – Menus are viewable on our website
    • Prices subject to change on fees and menus from initial booking. Prices are guaranteed for 6 months after date of booking.


  • Who does the set up for the reception?

  • • Our staff does all the preliminary set up, according to an agreed upon floor plan by the host and banquet manager. Our tables and banquet chairs will be used. Any desire by the wedding party to have tables and chairs other than ours will be subject to an additional set up fee, ranging from $100 – $300.

  • Can we simply have our ceremony at Richards Farm with no meal following?

  • • Fees are different: The initial fees still apply to hold the date: ($600 for Willow Room/ $300 for Haymow/ and $300 for outdoors) In addition: Willow Room Ceremony $500 – Haymow Ceremony $350 – Outdoor Ceremony $400
    • All areas will be available up to 3 hours prior to wedding time and 1 hour after wedding and for 1 hour the night prior for rehearsal.
    • No outside food or beverage may be brought in for reception.
    • Bar cannot be available since food is not being purchased.


  • Is there a contract to be signed by customer and Event Manager at Richards Farm?

  • • We have an agreement stating the basic details, prices, fees, etc. which will be presented upon the final agreed upon proposal. The $600 fee paid upon booking is our commitment to one another. Along the way during the planning, proposals will be sent to wedding party and when we are in full agreement with the set up, services, food, and charges, a final bill will be presented.


  • When does the total bill need to be paid in full?

  • • By 72 hours in advance of event. It may be called in via credit card, sent in the mail, or dropped by.
